Programme Outlines
PRE-MASTERS COURSE BUSINESS & MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME
One of the most popular programmes, offered on the Pre-Masters Course is Business and Management. From September 2010 the three-semester Business and Management course will include units that, if successfully completed, will give a student an Edexcel Level 7 BTEC Advanced Professional Award or Certificate in Management Studies. The provisional structure of the full three semester course will be as follows:

To complete the Edexcel Level 7 BTEC Advanced Professional Award in Management Studies a student must complete the Advanced Professional Development unit and two other units (the Edexcel BTEC unit numbers are in brackets after the unit title).
To complete the Edexcel Level 7 BTEC Advanced Professional Certificate in Management Studies a student must complete the Advanced Professional Development unit and Managing Change in Organisations and four other units.
For students not wishing to take a Masters Degree in Business and Management, subject options in Art and Art history, Law, Maths, Media IT or Sciences may be taken in semester one, two or three in place of one o Business Economics.
The Pre-Masters Course averages 16-18 hours per week and the full three semester course is 33 weeks long.
